Hi! My name is Mandile Mpofu, and I want to share something with you.

The Lord laid on my heart the idea of a blog through a friend of mine. At first, I thought the blog would revolve around good food and good restaurants – which I love. However, as I thought about it more and more, I realized that with a blog, I had the power to enlarge God’s kingdom and to tell of His greatness! That’s why I’m here!

God’s love is amazing. It’s awesome. It’s never-ending. It goes beyond anything we could ever understand or imagine. There’s no other love like it, and I love knowing that He is always there, waiting to embrace me. It’s comforting.

His love is evident in our everyday lives. It shines through His grace and faithfulness. However, not everyone has felt the love of God and that’s one of the reasons why I created this blog.

I want to share something with you.

This blog is for the woman who doesn’t know Christ and hasn’t felt His love yet. It’s for the woman who wants to grow in Christ. It’s for the woman who is seeking Christ. This blog won’t be perfect – at all! Just like some of you, I want to get to know God beyond church sermons and before-we-eat prayer. I want to connect with Him on a deeper level. I need Him to be my all. Just like all of you, I’m still learning.

I want to share God’s love with you.

The idea of starting a blog was absolutely daunting. I have never done something so public – something that requires so much commitment and creativity. But that’s not really where the fear lay. What if I misrepresent the Lord? What if I say the wrong things? Is this what God really wants for me? Those were the questions that raced through my head every time the thought of the blog came to mind. I prayed about it but still nothing was clear. In search of clarity, I asked my mum how I was supposed to know if God wanted me to start this blog. She asked me what the purpose of the blog was and I told her that it was to share God’s word and to tell of the amazing things that He has done in my life and the amazing things He can do for other people. Of course she didn’t even need to say much after that.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

-Mark 16:15

I want this blog to be platform through which I can share His word and tell of His love. I want it to be a place where we, as young women of God, can come together to glorify His name and learn from each other through the comments and prayer requests.

I am so excited to be embarking on this journey with all of you beautiful women and I can’t wait to see and share what the Almighty has in store for us.
