Your love

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

-1 John 4:8

Dear God,

There is no greater love than yours.
I pray that I learn to remember that you love me;

That you gave your Son for me.

I pray that I learn that You have loved me

And that Your love endures forever.

Help me to appreciate Your love:

A love from which we cannot be separated 

A love that comforts and consoles

A perfect love that is without fear

A love beyond worldly value

A love that covers all wrongs

A love that reaches to the heavens

A love that calms the stormy sea.

Give me strength to love my neighbor as you have loved me.

Give me the knowledge to understand what love is.

Help me to appreciate your love:

A real, true love.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray,
