great Christian things

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
-Romans 12:21

For this post, I thought I’d do something simple - something that has really helped me to stay grounded in Christ throughout my first semester in college. I mentioned that I wasn’t really as in touch with God as I was before I left home. Although I’m not back to the place where I used to be in my relationship with God, I have been making progress thanks to these things. If one of your goals for the upcoming year is to grow your relationship with God, I think these things will be useful to you in that they’re a good starting point. In this post, I'm sharing with you a list of my favorite Christian songs, blogs, websites, and YouTube channels from 2016 and I hope that they’ll become your favorites in 2017.

Favorite Christian songs:
  1. Oceans by Hillsong United (I know everyone loves this one!)
  2. It is Well by Kristene Dimarco
  3. You Make Me Brave by Amanda Cook
  4. Come Holy Spirit by Vertical Church Band
  5. Shoulders by for King & Country

Favorite Christian artists:
  1. KB (He’s a rapper and I love rap music. His beats are intense!)
  2. Lauren Daigle
  3. MercyMe
  4. Chris Tomlin
  5. NEEDTOBREATHE

Favorite Christian blogs and websites:
  1. She Is Captivating
  2. Fearfully Fashioned
  3. She Is Set Apart
  4. Little Faith Blog
  5. Bible.com

Favorite Christian YouTube channels:
  1. chaseGodTV
  2. FarAwayDistance
  3. Yumi
  4. The Bible Project
  5. Kelly Carolini

Whenever I found myself straying from my godly path, I used these resources to get back on track. We’re on our phones, laptops, and TVs so much and even though that’s a really bad thing, I’m grateful that we have these lovely sites to keep us close to God. I challenge you to use the internet to help you to grow spiritually – visit each of the sites and listen to the songs mentioned. You won't regret it. Don’t forget to read your Bible and pray as well!

God truly loves you.

With love,
Mandile.
