730 days

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
-Hebrews 10:36

Wow. It has been two years since I started this journey of sharing my spiritual life with you all. In these past two years, I’ve seen God work in my life in miraculous ways and I’ve seen Him work in the lives of those around me. The influence that this blog has had on some people’s lives has been so encouraging and so humbling to witness. Once in a while I receive messages from people who have read a blog post that they say they “needed” or they say was “powerful”. With over 5,000 views over the last 730 days, I can only give all the glory to Jesus, who has not abandoned me, no matter how far I strayed. I’m so excited to see how God will continue to use me as a vessel for transformation and I am even more excited to see his kingdom grow!

This post can’t fully portray how grateful I am for the support that I’ve received from those around me. At times I feel like I am not equipped to tell people about Jesus. I look at my life and I see so much brokenness. The Lord has used my brokenness to draw me nearer to him and his Word has given me so much confidence; not in myself, but in him. To show my gratitude, I’m going to post a new blog every day this week (seven, including this one). This is going to be a huge challenge for me, considering I sometimes take month-long “breaks” from posting! Bur it’s the least I could do to thank you for reading and sharing.

My hope is that, if this blog has helped you draw nearer to God, you would go beyond reading my posts and start seeking him on your own. I pray that you would dig deeper and genuinely get to know God’s heart! Don’t stop there either – love people. This world could use a little more love.

Thank you once again! Don’t forget that Jesus truly loves you.

With love,
Mandile.
